School of Environmental Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology will celebrate World Environment Day on 6 th in association with Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences.
Vice Chancellor Dr. K N Madhusoodanan will inaugurate the programme at 9:15 am on Thursday at the seminar hall of the School in the main campus of the university. Dr. Sivanadan Achari, Director of the School will preside and Dr. (Col) Vishal Marwaha, HoD, Rheumatology, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences will deliver the keynote address. Syndicate member and Engineering faculty Dean Dr. Beena K S, Dr. G Madhu, Dr. Anand Madhavan, and Dr. C S Ratheesh Kumar will speak. Various sessions of the seminar on ‘Air Pollution and Health’ will be led by Prof. Aswathi S, AIMS, Dr. Manoj M G, ACARR, CUSAT, Dr. P T James, AIMS and Alcodex Technologies Pvt. Ltd CEO A K Abdulla.
