Dr.Padmanabha Shenoy Appointed as Rheumatologist Ambassador

KOCHI:
Dr. Padmanabha Shenoy appointed as Rheumatologist Ambassador for Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatologists (APLAR). The organization APLAR is co-ordinating research, study, betterments in job conditions, mutual exchange of latest innovations in treatment of arthritis, awareness programmes of Rheumatologists in the Asia Pacific Nations. It is the first time an Indian Rheumatologist is being appointed in this post.
Dr. Padmanabha Shenoy received international recognition for proving through research that scleroderma can be controlled by treatment. In addition he was the main organizer of IRACON 2016, the 32nd edition of international meet rheumatology experts meet. The appointment as ambassador was based on these excellence in professionalism. With this position, all possible ways of improving the treatment in Rheumatology will be looked into, says Dr.Padmanbha Shenoy.
