KOCHI:
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) all-India general secretary Anu Chacko said that giving old age pension of Rs 1,600 is the hallmark of the Left Democratic Front government and demanded that the disability-old age pension should be increased to Rs 2,000.
She was inaugurating the meeting as part of Nava Kerala Sadass entering Ernakulam district. National council member Biju Thorattil presided.
CPM district committee member Seenulal, Janata Dal (S) state general secretary Sabu George, IN L district president Najeeb, CPI district committee member M. P. Radhakrishnan, NCP Former Ernakulam block president Ramkumar, PD P national committee member Mujeeb Rahman, CMP Arivindakshan faction state general secretary Ajeeb, Congress S Thrikkakkara block president Noushad, human rights committee chairman Ibrahim K Sudhakaran and others were present.
