BENGALURU:
Karnataka’s Municipal Administration Minister and Congress leader C.S. Shivalli passed away on Friday at a hospital in Hubballi due to cardiac arrest, a doctor said. He was 57.
“He was brought to the hospital on Friday and passed away due to a massive cardiac arrest,” a doctor at the private hospital said.
Shivalli represented the Kundgol constituency in Dharwad district, about 400 km northwest of here. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.
Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy condoled Shivalli’s death.
