The “108 Surya Namaskaram – Yogathon Challenge” initiated by the multi-brand auto retail Group Kuttukaran, headed to an exciting and nail biting finish today morning as 1000s took up the online challenge from their homes. Coinciding with the International Yoga Day, this mammoth event is considered one among the biggest Yoga Exercises held in the Country today. For the same reason, the organizers have approached the Limca Book of Records for an official entry.
The Master Challenge of 108 rounds of Surya Namaskaram within 35 minutes, was successfully completed by 60 participants. Apart from the Winner’s Cup Memento, each Winner was awarded a Wrist Band Smart Tracker as well. The event also hosted a 75-round Platinum Challenge, a 50-round Golden Challenge, a Fun Challenge of 25 rounds, a Family Challenge of 18 rounds and a Kids Challenge of 18 rounds. Numerous winners arose in each category. They all got attractive prizes apart from the participation certificate given to all the entrants.
The event began with a 5-day free online yoga training on Surya Namaskaram rendered by Ayush Ministry certified Trainers, Anand Narayan and Rajalekshmi from the Art of Living Foundation. Held in 2 batches both in the morning and evening it geared up the Yogathon Challenge entrants to a spectacular finish today. The event, with its tag line “Stay Home, Stay Safe and Stay Fit”, formed a part of the series of events launched by Kuttukaran under its initiative “Koodeyundu Popular”, to reach out to people during these trying times.
