One Day Seminar at CUSAT

KOCHI:
School of Environmental Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology in association with Indian Society of Analytical Scientists is organising one day seminar on “Analytical Techniques in Environmental Monitoring and Measurements” on 15 th June at 9.15 am at the School in the Thrikkakkara campus.

Dr. K N Madhusoodanan, Vice Chancellor will inaugurate the seminar. Experts in the field of Chemistry, Environmental Sciences and Analytical Techniques will speak on various topics. Dr. S K Malhothra (Raja Ramanna Fellow & Former Head, Public Awareness Division, Department of Atmospheric Energy, Bombay) will speak on “Nuclear Power, Environment and Health”.

Dr. Rajan Pisharody, (Health Physicist, Nuclear Power Corporation of India, Kudamkulam) will speak on “Importance of Baseline Data in Environmental Monitoring and Assessment”. Dr. Biju Joseph, (Professor, Pesticide Residue Analysis Division, Kerala Agricultural University, Vellayani, Thiruvananthapuram) will speak on “Pesticide Residue Analysis”.
