Rajagiri Business League Basketball Tournament kicked off with a spectacular opening ceremony at Rajagiri Engineering College in Kochi. The tournament, organized by Rajagiri Centre for Business Studies, welcomes student and corporate teams from across the country.
The Chief Guest, Shihab Neerungal, President of the Ernakulam District Basketball Association, inaugurated the event. Rev. Dr. Francis Sebastian, Assistant Director of Rajagiri Valley Campus, and Fr. Reginald John, Administrator of Rajagiri Valley Campus, addressed the audience, sharing their insights.
The inauguration ceremony was followed by an exciting match between Sacred Hearts College, Thevara, and Christ College, Irinjalakuda. SH Thevara emerged victorious against MITS with a score of 53-43, with a half-time score of 20-17. Mathaichan was the top scorer for SH Thevara, contributing 20 points.
In another match, IOB secured a win against TCS Kochi with a score of 63-44 and a half-time score of 33-23. Prasanna Venkatesh led as the top scorer for IOB with 19 points.
Fragomen Kochi dominated their match against UST with a score of 54-15 and a half-time score of 39-08. Ebin Wilson emerged as the top scorer for Fragomen Kochi, accumulating 10 points.
TCS Bangalore also claimed victory with a score of 49-34 against UST, with a half-time score of 28-11. Balakrishna V shone as the top scorer for TCS Bangalore, securing 13 points.
