Prominent NRI businessman, Chairman & MD of Lulu Group has just now announced a donation of Rs. 5 crores toward the Kerala Chief Minister’s relief fund in the wake of devastating floods and rains which has wrecked havoc across Kerala and affected millions of lives. Apart from this he had donated Rs. 2 crores to two of the prominent newspapers in Kerala last week, for their initiatives to help affected people, bringing his total contribution for this calamity to Rs. 7 crores.
“This is one the worst times for Kerala and my heart goes out to the people who’s suffering are beyond imagination. I just pray and hope that we all come together at these testing times, and do whatever we can to bring some solace to the lives of millions of our brothers and sisters” said Yusuffali.
