Institute of Plastic Technology (IPT) – Kochi, has organized a two days National Conference on ‘Biopolymers & Green
Composites’ on 18th and 19th January 2019 at Hotel Presidency, Kochi.
The conference was inaugurated by Dr. R. Sasidharan, Vice Chancellor, CUSAT. ‘Biopolymers which are biodegradable and eco- friendly are useful for future applications’, he said in the inaugural address. CIPET has a significant role in the development of Biopolymers and Green Composites in India, he added. Head of Department of CIPET,K. A Rajesh presided over the meeting. Prof. R. Damodharan Head, Department of Chemistry, IIT Madras and Dr.Reji John, Scientist-G, DRDO-NPOL also presented their papers.
