Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed by Cochin Port Trust from 28/10/2019 to 02/11/2019. The theme chosen by the Central Vigilance Commission for this year’s Vigilance Awareness Week is “Integrity-A way of
life”.
Dr. M Beena, Chairperson inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp and administered Integrity Pledge to the employees of the Port on 28/10/2019. Introductory address made by Uma Venkatesan, Chief Vigilance Officer. Competitions of essay writing/ poster designing /elocution will be held from 29/10/2019 to 31/10/2019 for Cochin Port employees and students of nearby schools and colleges.
A talk on the theme subject by P Mohanadas, Former Judge and Judicial Member of Kerala Human Rights Commission, will be held on 01.11.2019. A “Walkathon” organised by Vigilance Study Circle Kerala starting from
the High Court Junction and finishing at the Rajendra Maidan will be conducted at 7 AM on 03.11.2019 in which participation of Cochin Port Trust staff also proposed.
