Lucky Steelbird Helmet User Drives Home a Brand New Car

Two wheeler drivers in Kerala will have one more compelling reason why they should be wearing a Steelbird helmet always.
Reinforcing its commitment towards customers, Steelbird Hi-Tech India limited, Asia’s largest Helmet manufacturer, today announced the lucky draw winner of ‘Steelbird Connect ’. The lucky winner, Sugatheesh, from Palakkad (Kerala), rides home with a brand new Alto 800, as the weekend prize of the contest.
Commenting on this initiative of Steelbird, Rajeev Kapur, MD told that, to counter the fake ISI helmets available in the market Steelbird has taken many steps and launch of Steelbird Connect is one of the initiatives to safeguard our customers from fake and
counterfeits.
Handing over the keys to the winner, Shailendra Jain, Global Group Head- Sales & Marketing (Steelbird) said, “Steelbird has focussed through new mobile app by introducing an innovative engagement for Steelbird consumers. The, ‘Steelbird Connect Mobile App’ is a step towards engaging and gratifying customers for their constant engagement with the brand. We are happy that we have a winner from Kerala of this nation-wide contest.”
Speaking at the occasion, elated winner Sugatheesh said, “Steelbird is truly the best helmet brand in the country! I am overjoyed on winning the prize today and would like to thank Steelbird for this brand new Car. This mobile app is a very innovative way of delighting the customers; I am extremely overjoyed to be the weekend lucky draw winner.
Jain further added “Steelbird Connect” is first of its kind mobile based application in this segment allows customer to check the authenticity of the Steelbird range of products they buy. All the Steelbird products w.e.f 1 July 2017 having a unique QR code and buyer can simply download the application on their mobile phone and by scanning QR code every consumer will be ensured of the genuineness of the product they had purchased.
The mobile application has linked with a marketing promotional scheme of Steelbird with a motive to expand the certified helmets market and encourage users to go for only ISI certified helmets and other products. As per this promotional scheme every buyer of Steelbird product is eligible lifelong to win exciting gifts through lucky draw held daily.
The lucky draws includes automobile accessories such as gloves, rider jacket and helmets on weekdays and scooty / car at the weekends. Sharing the marketing plans, Shailendra Jain, Global Group Head-Sales & Marketing (Steelbird), said “This app for the Smartphone is developed as a promotional marketing strategy of Steelbird. It will also help the brand to penetrate in new territories, besides do away with the fake Steelbird products existing in the market.”
Through the campaign, Steelbird aims to capture another 25% market share. The company has earmarked a budget of Rs. 1 crore for the launch of its campaign. By the end of the year it has planned to give out 40 scooty and 12 cars to its winners apart from the automobile accessories.”
Kerala’s two-wheeler market is booming. Every month, 32,000 bikes and 22,000 scooters are sold by different manufacturers in Kerala. This in turn leads to a lot of potential for helmets with reference to helmet standards. With a winner from this city hopefully we will be able to make more and more customers aware of the existing substandard and fake ISI helmets in the market.
