Credia Kerala State Conference, Credai Statecon, 2023′ on November 2 and 3

Credai Kerala, the state chapter of CREDAI (Confederation Of Real Estate Developers Association Of India), the apex body of private real estate developers in India, has started its countdown to host the seventh edition of its State Conference of the builders fraternity, “Credai Statecon, 2023” at Chakolas Pavilion Event Centre, Kalamassery , Kochi, Kochi , on 02 nd and 03 rd of November, 2023.

Ravi Jacob, Chairman, CREDAI Kerala, and Dr. Najeeb Zackeria , Conference Chairman stated that, the two days conference aims to strengthen ties, build new relationship, discuss various issues of the sector, needful policy reforms required from the Government side for the sustainable growth of Kerala Real Estate sector, exchange ideas, and promote cooperation among the members of the building industry.

LSGD Minister, MB Rajesh, will be inaugurating the conference under the presence of the Kochi Mayor, Adv.AnilKumar, CREDAI National President, Mr.Bomman Irani and Secretary, Mr.Ram Reddy on 02 nd , November, 2023 . The theme of the seventh edition of the conference will be “Destination Kerala, The next Big Real Estate Growth Story. Eminent Speakers and senior professionals from the real estate, finance and marketing sectors, will address the gathering and share their experiences on the technology, finance and marketing aspects, concerning the construction Industry. The technical sessions
of the conference will start by 11.25 Am on 2 nd November, 2023. The two days conference will conclude by after noon on 3 rd November, 2023.

Cushman & Wakefield , a leading Global commercial real estate service firm that delivers exceptional value for the real estate occupiers and owners , is associating with CREDAI Kerala, as the Knowledge Partner for the Statecon, 2023. In a recently released research publication at CREDAI National Conference ’23, by Cushman and Wakefield, it had identified 10 cities from a broader list of 17 tier-II cities that were found to have the biggest potential for growth in residential and commercial real estate activity in the near-to-medium term.

In their report, two cities from Kerala, Kochi and Trivandrum are shortlisted among the 10 cities as the most emerging cities, based on their GDP size and real estate market potential. CREDAI Kerala will unveil a report prepared by the Knowledge Partner, C&W, on the Kerala Real Estate scenario, during the inaugural ceremony of the conference.

The paper will address how the Kerala real estate sector can be revitalised by necessary policy reforms and other government measures, as observed and proven useful by adjacent states such as Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Hyderabad. Being the second largest employer with substantial contribution to the GDP of both the State and Central Government, the construction sector is yet to get adequate attention of the Government, according to CREDAI.

The report will highlight on the glimpse of real estate development taken place so far in Kerala, the market potential that exist in the two cities, Kochi and Trivandrum, the fast-emerging commercial developments at the Thrissur, Calicut and Palakkad cities, how Kerala can be brought in as the next preferred destination, various existing policies and the corrective measures required to improve the EODB status of the State apart from the needful support required from the State Government for the growth and sustained development of the real estate sector in Kerala.

Over 300 Real Estate Developers from the five city chapters of the state, Kochi, Trivandrum, Thrissur, Calicut and Palakkad, will attend the conference apart from another 100 delegates from the Trade bodies like CII, BAI, KMA, IAA and IPA etc. This year’s conference will also witness with the presence of the eminent members from CREDAI National and the Southern region, state and city chapters.
