Indian Apparel Startup G&A Announces its Global Expansion

KOCJHI:
Giacca & Abito Sartoriale (G&A), the Kerala-based Indian apparel startup, announced its expansion into the global market, with New Zealand as its initial destination of choice. With a strong presence in the fashion industry, G&A offers a wide range of stylish and sophisticated menswear.

Operating under the D2C model through their official website, www.barebrownandtea.com, the company brings its extensive collection of menswear, featuring both Bare Brown and T the Brand, to the discerning people of New Zealand. The product range primarily focuses on formal and casual shirts, as well as polos.

Among the exclusive collections introduced in New Zealand is Mr. Brown Select, inspired by the young, humble, and chivalrous men among us which is the character and style icon of Bare Brown Brand. The new collection mirrors his characteristics, promising to do well in the New Zealand market.

The company’s Founder and CEO, Sreejith Sreekumar, stated, “Since day one, we have aimed to be a global men’s experience retailer. Taking into account the demographics of New Zealand, many of the international brands have not established their market well enough and even if they are, it is priced as a bridge to luxury. We have always focused on providing the best premium products to people without having to think that it’s over your budget. And for them to relate with our collections that it becomes a go to brand for men. Furthermore, the proximity to Australia and the streamlined government processes made this expansion highly favourable.”

G&A, has always focused on providing premium products that are accessible to a broader audience, eliminating the need to compromise on quality or affordability. They saw the opportunity for apparel brands to excel in user experience shopping in New Zealand because of the steady incline of this anomaly. The company also plans to establish physical stores in the region.

With the expansion, the brand aims to resonate with New Zealand consumers, becoming their preferred choice for both formal and casual attire.

The company is planning to expand in GCC, Australia and other global markets in the near future.
