The convention featured invaluable sessions delivered by company leaders, who offered professional advice along with innovative ideas, realistic solutions.

Speaking on the occasion, M Anand, President Zone II, SBI Life Insurance said, “We are humbled to see this enormous turnout of Life Mitras from across Kerala, who’ve gathered to participate in this mega knowledge sharing platform. This is the congregation of highly qualified insurance professionals to come together, share best practices and learn about the latest technological advancements and other developments in the sector. The visible enthusiasm is a testimony to SBI Life’s increasing presence in the region.

He further added, “With changing consumer dynamics of the insurance sector, our Life Mitras prove to be vital in guiding the customer in creating a holistic financial plan that cater to their requirements. While technology will continue to emerge in the market, we aim to continue to link it with a human touch and hope that such initiatives can help us secure the larger vision of making insurance accessible for all.”

According to the data from IRDAI Handbook on Indian Insurance Statistics, 2016-17, India had about 328 million life insurance policies in 2017. With complete understanding of the product offerings, the company’s Life Mitras prove to be vital in guiding the consumer a holistic financial plan.
