Timur Kachi Biriyani to Open 10 More Outlets in Kochi

Timur Kachi Biriyani, the new entrant of Biriyani is conquering the hearts of food loving Kochiities. Timur Kachi Biriyani Restaurant which started at Pallimukku has opened its second outlet at Thammanan.
Timur Kachi Managing Partner Bindhu Pauly said that 10 more such outlets will soon be opened in Kochi on franchisee basis. In the first phase restaurants will be started at Thevara, Vytilla, Edappally, Kakkanad, Kaloor, Kundannoor, Kacheripady, Marine Drive, Aluva and Kalamassery. In the second phase, it will be extended to Perumbavoor, Angamaly, Nedumbassery, Paravoor and  Kodungalloor.
The next outlet will be started on a franchaisee model, with the unique features of Timur Kachi Biriyanai restaurant. Food will be distributed to all the centres from the centralized kitchen at Pallimukku, MG
Road. Customers will be served with hot Biriyani which is distributed to various centres in special thermocol boxes imported from US.
Timur Kachi Biriyani is prepared very cautiously by controlling the flame and time for cooking. Partially cooked rice is placed on top of meat which is mixed with masala. The water vapour from the meat is used for cooking the rice. During cooking the masala will be completely absorbed in the rice.
The origin of Timur Kachi Biriyini was made by Timur King, who lived during the 13th century.  The main support of Timur, who conquered Mangolia, Russia and China,and parts of India and Arab countries, was his soldiers. He was very particular that the soldiers were served with nutritious and delicious food. Timur Biriyani was the specialty of his cook, who made food which can be dry packed and will be juicy when consumed.
When the king reached Arab countries, the recipes of the Biriyani was changed to suite the Arabs which later known as Timur Kachi Biriyani.
