    Indian Navy for Increased Collaboration with CUSAT
    “Indian Navy would like to enhance the partnership with CUSAT, in the years to come”, stated Rear Admiral R J Nadkarni VSM, Chief of Staff, Headquarters, Southern Naval Command, who was on a formal visit to CUSAT today. The Flag Officer was received by Prof. Dr. Sunil K Narayanankutty, Controller of Examinations, CUSAT. After a brief meeting with the Vice Chancellor Dr. J. Letha, the Flag Officer visited the ST Radar Centre and the Departments of Electronics, Ship Technology and Polymer Science & Rubber Technology. During the visit to the ST Radar facility the Flag Officer stated that the utility and possibilities of application of the ST Radar facility for Naval applications could be further explored, jointly by the Indian Navy and CUSAT. While being shown the capabilities and research facilities at Departments of Electronics, Ship Technology and Polymer Science & Rubber Technology, the Flag Officer stressed the need for increased dependence on indigenous systems for contemporary applications and technological advances.

    B.Tech classes from 26th
    First semester classes of B.Tech course of School of Engineering, Cusat will commence on Wednesday 26 th July. The admitted students may report at 9 AM at Seminar Complex for the orientation programme, informed the Principal.

    Book Publishing Course Inaugurated
    One week ‘Certificate Course in Book Publishing’ jointly organized CUSAT, National Book Trust, Govt. of India and University Library was inaugurated by Justice P.S Gopinathan at Electronics Auditorium today. Cusat Vice Chancellor Dr. J Letha presided over the function and NBT Chairman Baldeo Bhai Sharma delivered the keynote address. Dr. Chandramohanakumar, Member Syndicate, E N Nandakumar, Executive Committee Member, NBT, Dr. C Veerankutty, University Librarian, Narendra Kumar, Training Officer spoke.     Seats vacant at IPR Studies
    One seat each in SC and ST category are vacant for one year LLM (IPR) programme 2017 conducted by the Inter University Centre for IPR Studies, Cusat.
