The tool facilitates transparent and real-time operational communication with the customers and efficient logistical planning. As part of its digitization strategy, ACC has been known for its innovation and with launch of Concrete Direct, the Company earmarks one more milestone in its journey.
Concrete Direct makes it a simpler and smarter way to handle concrete purchases as it provides real-time order tracking unlike earlier. Now customers are able to navigate truck positions live on GPS, interact with customer-care representatives using chat, share tickets, view active orders and history, edit orders in real-time, and monitor the performance of their site crews from anywhere. The live tracking of truck position reduces the operational follow-up calls, thereby greatly improving logistical efficiency.
Concrete Direct offers business continuity for all the stakeholders, digitally enabling them to keep their projects moving, even under difficult circumstances such as the pandemic. Besides this, the driver has an interface on a smart device with details of the order. It also enables drivers to drop a pin at their arrival location on their devices instead of requiring signatures, eliminating the need for physical contact between drivers and customers, enabling adherence to safety protocols and norms.
