An automated sanitizer dispenser was installed at the Administrative Block of Cochin University of Science and Technology. Automatic Sanitizer Dispenser named ‘Hiegy’ was developed by Choice Med Health Care Solutions company owned by Suraj Simon Varghese, final year M.Tech student and M. Rubin Ray, CUSAT alumnus.
The company was incubated at CITTIC, CUSAT. The dispenser comes in 8, 1.5 litre sizes and an 8 litre sanitizer dispenser was installed at CUSAT. ‘’The quantity of sanitizer used can be optimized by using the machine as it is an automated system’’, says Suraj Simon Varghese (8086291674) and Rubin Ray.
