Bangalore-based Avinash Koneru Wins INR 31L at Adda52 Big Million Tournament

Adda52- India’s number one poker destination, concluded the 6th edition of a month-long mega spectacle ‘Big Millions Tournament’, the showdown of which took place at the Deltin Royale, Goa on 21st April 2022. The tournament enabled players to participate in the tournament with a nominal buy-in & battle it out for the BIGGEST share of the mammoth INR 2 Crore GTD prize pool! Bangalore-based 38-year-old Avinash Koneru emerged as the winner of the Big Millions Tournament and grabbed the lion’s share of the monumental ₹2 Crore prize pool by winning a sum of ₹31, 63,652 while the runner-up grabbed a paycheque of ₹22,72,880

Avinash qualified via a ₹1,100 buy-in satellite tournament and ended up winning the title out of the total players of 1287 poker players who participated in the tournament. Avinash Koneru is an IT professional and has been playing poker on Adda52 for 8 years.

In his winning speech, Avinash Koneru said, “Big Millions was a wonderful amalgamation of the online and offline poker world. I enjoyed my stay at the Deltin, Goa. The casino got a good vibe to it which was complemented by good music and food. The fact that I ended up winning the tournament and am walking away with my career-best performance with a grand sum makes this tournament all the more valuable and fruitful. Meeting players from diverse backgrounds with different age groups and witnessing them play live made me more learned as a player.
