  • Christopher C. Doyle’s Book ‘The Mists of Brahma’ Launched

By NE Reporter on October 22, 2019

    BANGALORE:
The MLR convention Centre, Mahadevapura, Bangalore witnessed the launch of Christopher Doyle’s new book ‘The Mist of Brahma’ – (The Pataala Prophecy Book 2) on 22nd October, 2019. Githa Shankar, Founder, The Brigade Schools launched the book amidst thunderous applause from parents, students and friends.

Christopher C. Doyle is the best-selling author of “The Mahabharata Quest” series, a fantasy thriller filled with mythology, mystery and adventure! He transports the reader into a fascinating world where ancient secrets buried in legends blend with science and history to create gripping stories.

Doyle embarked on the journey of achieving his childhood dreams, after pursuing a career in the corporate world. He graduated from St. Stephens College, Delhi with a degree in Economics and a MBA from IIM Calcutta. Christopher is also a musician and lives his passion for music through his band called ‘Mid Life Crisis.’

Githa Shankar is the Founder of The three Brigade Schools situated at JP Nagar, Mahadevapura and Malleswaram respectively and is a firm believer that ‘every child matters’. Her commitment to education and her passion for innovation provides an excellent education in an outstanding environment, resulting in Indian Roots and Global wings.

Githa Shankar, Founder, The Brigade Schools, an avid reader herself, encourages the students to utilize the imaginatively equipped school libraries. The school motto “O nanna chetana, aagu nee aniketana” translates to ‘O my spirit, transcend all boundaries’ – is an extension of our philosophy: let the spirit fly, let the mind soar into new horizons.

A brief glance at Christopher Doyle’s new book: The Mists of Brahma the Pataaala Prophecy Book 2. “A horrific carnage stuns the Sangha. But nothing the Sangha can do will protect the world against another onslaught from Pataala Lok.

There is only one way out. An ancient mystery. An enigma so perilous that it is feared by even the Maharishis of the Sangha.

When a shocking development threatens to turn her life upside down, Maya has to solve the mysteries in her father’s diary. But she cannot imagine the unspeakable consequences of her decision. Arjun and Maya will have to confront a new, powerful enemy. Who will kill without remorse? And whom they cannot defeat’”

The genre of Doyle’s book is historical. In an interview Doyle has mentioned that “Through the Mahabharata Secret, I have tried to interpret our mythological heritage through the eyes of science. I have tried to provide a fresh perspective to a historical age which we all associate with bows, arrows, horses, elephants and chariots, not with cutting edge technology.

The writing should be extremely effectual so that it wakes up the reader from his sleep and makes him sit up and contemplate on what is written” His advice to the young writers “keep writing and never, ever give up. The rejections will come, but there is no success without failure”.
