KOCHI:
Johnson Mathew, Vice-President – HR, Popular Vehicles & Services Private Ltd., has been awarded the prestigious “Manager of the Year – 2018” Award by the Kerala Management Association, one of the leading Management Associations in India.
He received the award from Tom Jose, Chief Secretary, Govt. of Kerala. The Award, established in the year 2002, is given to an individual Manager, based on the outstanding contribution made during the year, to improve productivity, quality, profitability and industrial relations, through scientific management, in their organization, besides assessing their networking skills and involvement in professional bodies. A Certificate of Merit, trophy and cash award was presented to Johnson at the KMA Awards Night on 6th July 2018 at Hotel Le Meridien, Kochi.
The award winner is selected through a close scrutiny of nominations by a Selection Committee constituted by the Managing Committee of KMA. Earlier Johnson had worked with Indian Aluminium company Ltd, Tata Telecom Ltd and Soft Systems Ltd.
