THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The fifth death anniversary commemoration of former Minister and Kerala Congress (Jacob) leader T.M. Jacob will take place on Thursday, October 27, at the Thiruvananthapuram Press Club.
KPCC President V.M. Sudheeran will inaugurate the programme at the Press Club’s Fourth Estate Hall at 5 pm, said officials of the T.M. Jacob Trust.
Former Additional Chief Secretary Dr D. Babu Paul will deliver th
e commemoration address at the meeting presided over by managing trustee Daisy Jacob. Kerala Congress (Jacob) Chairman Johny Nelloor, Trust officials Anoop Jacob MLA and Ambili Jacob, and journalist Sunnykutty Abraham will speak at the function.
A number of social welfare activities will be carried out as part of the commemoration. To mark the death anniversary, which falls on October 30, special prayers will be held at the Attinkunnu church in Jacob’s hometown of Koothattukulam and other places.
