MUMBAI:
With a noble intent of giving back to the society in this festive season, State Bank of India today celebrated Joy of Giving – Daan Utsav at its Corporate Centre in Mumbai. Thousands of SBI staffs came together and donated groceries, food items, stationaries, personal care products, clothes and other essential items to Mumbai based NGO – Keshav Srushti.
A lorry filled with around 750 Kgs of food items and other essential items donated by SBI staff members as an act of kindness, was flagged-off by with Dinesh Khara, Chairman, SBI, Arijit Basu, MD (CCG), SBI and CS Setty, MD (Retail & Digital Banking), SBI.
The Joy of Giving – Daan Utsav programme was held all across Local Head Offices’ (LHOs) of SBI wherein all employees of the bank generously made a massive contribution towards helping poor and undeserved, NGOs and social causes.
