ZEE Bags ‘Gold’ at Titan Businessv Awards

ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL), India’s largest content and entertainment powerhouse, has bagged the ‘Gold’ award under the ‘Best Rewards and Recognition Strategy’ category at the 2022 edition of the prestigious Titan Business Awards. The company’s tech-led initiatives – ZEElompics and Cheers4Peers have been adjudged as one of the best employee recognitions frameworks.

Titan Business Awards holds a rich legacy of honouring far-reaching efforts of entrepreneurs and organizations around the world, whose contributions are far beyond the norm, on the global stage of innovation and ingenuity. Correspondingly, the award recognizes remarkable entrepreneurs, SMEs, leading organizations, and all relatable parties in distinctive fields, from private to public, for-profit to non-profit, extending to all available business industries.

Launched in July 2020, ZEELOMPICS has been one of the most successful and iconic employee recognition frameworks, following a top-down approach. Inspired by the concept of Olympics, the program consists of 5 rings that signify organizational competencies. Zeelompics is a quarterly recognition program and through digital felicitation, 3% of the workforce that demonstrates competency led behaviors to drive key business outcomes is rewarded.

The one-of-its-kind quarterly program aims to inspire employees and set higher individual benchmarks; pushing the workforce to excel and upgrade themselves consistently. Another exceptional program recognized by the forum was the instant peer-to-peer internal digital recognition platform – Cheers4Peers. Through a social recognition format, this initiative aims at strengthening the relationship between peers, while capturing the organic expression of appreciation across levels, breaking the barriers of language and geography in an engaging manner.

The company has partnered with BigFish Benefits to ensure employees can redeem tangible monetary benefits, basis the badges collected by an employee in a financial year. The interactive programme has been widely successful among employees, wherein an average of 80 badges are exchanged daily through the platform. Since the launch date, approximately 25,000 badges have been exchanged, engaging 84% of employees within the organization.
