12th Mirchi Music Awards South on May 1st on Asianet Plus

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Mirchi, India’s no.1 city-centric music and entertainment company, recently hosted the 12th edition of the Mirchi Music Awards South to recognize some of the finest talents in Malayalam music industry. Audiences can catch the much-awaited awards and a night full of music, dance, laughter and more, at 3 pm this Sunday, 1st May 2022 on Asianet Plus.

Hosted by Anoop Krishnan and Mirchi RJ Varsha this edition of the Mirchi Music Awards South brings some of the most melodious and scintillating performances to the audiences. The awards will showcase actress Poorna’s stunning performance on the viral track ‘Tum Tum’. Additionally, well-known comic actor, Binu Adimali’s hilarious act will create a laughter riot amongst the audience.

That’s not all! Popular playback singers Swetha Mohan, Vibin Xavier, Vivekananda, and Anju Josephwill be seen performing some of the best musical renditions of their lives. Swetha Mohan will also present a heartfelt song, exclusively composed for her mother and playback singer – Sujatha Mohan – tearing up many. Moreover, G. Venugopal and M. Jayandran heartfelt tribute to legendary film and theatre composer, Arjunan Master, is deemed to send the viewers on a nostalgic trail.

Eminent actors and singing sensations from the Malayalam music and entertainment industry made an appearance at the most-awaited musical evening of the year. Malayali celebrities and artists like Sooraj Santhosh, Jakes Bijoy, Lekha Nair, Afsal Yusuf, Sudeep Kumar, Sangeetha Sreekanth and
Vinayak Sasikumar, among many more, graced the awards night with their presence. Full of glitz and glamour, the Mirchi Music Awards proved to be a sensational musical evening.
