Taxmann Publications announces release of 6 th edition of GST Tariff Book with GST Rate Reckoner. This publication provides HSN-Wise GST rates of goods and services.
This latest edition of the publication incorporates all changes made by GST Council in its 23 rd Meeting, which were notified on 14 th November, 2017. The book is supplemented by Commodity-wise Rate Reckoner to help the readers to quickly get the GST rate on any commodity.
This abridged version of the tariff is for those who are not well versed with GST Tariffs. Taxmann also announces the launch of GST Rate Finder Tool on its website www.taxmann.com. It is an easy to use tool where users can quickly find an authentic and updated GST tariff for any commodity or service. This tool always shows the amended GST Tariff. GST Tariff database is also available on Taxmann.com Android and iOS App, which can be of great use to the busy professionals, always on a go.
Commenting on the launch, Rakesh Bhargava, Director, Taxmann said, “With frequent changes in the GST rates, comprehending the bare notifications had become very challenging work for the companies, practitioners and individuals. That is why we have launched the 6 th edition of the book GST Tariff in 2 volumes. These books provide the updated HSN and Service Code wise GST rates of goods and services. They also provide the updated base notifications as amended by the notifications issued from time to time by the GST Council. Additionally, to make the understanding of tariffs easier, we are giving the GST Rate Reckoner complementary with the tariff book.”
