Poet Meet Held as Part of NBF 2018

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The Poets’ meet held as part of the NBF 2018 was inaugurated by P Narayana Kurup. Cine actor Anusree was the special guest for the event which was presided over by Dr Kayamkulam Yunus. Geoorge Onakkoor, Poovachal Kadhar, Kavalam Sreekumar, Manju Vellayani, Pazhavila Sasi, Ambalappuzha Rajagopal, M.T Girijakumari, JNC Nair, Madavoor Ravi, Mukkood Gopalakrishnan, Vinod Vellayani Shamila Shooja, Dr Agustin Kayyaleth, T.P Kilamanoor and V.B.Karekkad participated.
A Farmers’ Meet will be held on February 20th, Tuesday at Vellayani as part of the National Banana Festival. R Sundar, CGM, NABARD will preside over the meet to be inaugurated by Ramachandran Kadannappally, Minister for Ports, Museums, Archeology and Archives, Kerala. Dr.N.G.Balachandranath, Former Principal Agricultural Officer, Govt. of Kerala, A.M.Sunilkumar, Director of Agriculture, Govt. of Kerala, P.V Ramana, Asst., Director of Horticulture, Andhra Pradesh, A.P. Karuppaiah, President, Tamil Nadu Banana Growers Federation, G.Ajeethan, General Secretary, Tamil Nadu Banana Growers Federation, Balachandran Nair, Sangamythri farmer Producer Company, M.K.Ravikrishnan, Chairman, Kerala Gamin Bank, Pappanamcode Saji, Councillor, Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, Dr.Kamalasanan Pillai and.G.P. Sreekumar will also participate.
