Progress) – a Learning & Development platform of Indian Oil & Gas industry hosted first leadership lecture series with world’s #1 leadership coach and business thinker, Dr. Marshall Goldsmith on “Coaching for Organisation Culture and Leadership Development” at Mumbai recently.
Dr. Marshall Goldsmith, a world renowned business educator, leadership coach provided insights into simple ways towards behavioural change for leadership development, employee engagement, team work and overall happiness to more than 400 executives from Oil & Gas industry. Dr. Marshall is known for his ability to get results for top leaders and their management teams to address change in the workplace with practical and proven methods. He has been acclaimed by The Economist as one of the Most Credible Thought Leaders in the new era of business and by The Times as one of the 15 Greatest Business Thinkers in the World.
LEAP is an industry wide platform (as a part of HR Taskforce for Oil CPSEs under MoP&NG) to partner in the developmental initiative of common interest and invite eminent speakers/faculty, to share their experiences and insights focusing on leadership development in the sector. HR Taskforce comprising seven Oil CPSEs – ONGC, IOCL, BPCL, HPCL, GAIL, OIL and EIL is chaired by Dr. Santrupt Misra, with a mandate by MoP&NG to strengthen and develop HR practices related to talent in Oil companies. Sandeep Poundrik, Joint Secretary (CA), MoP&NG is the member-convener of the committee. Other members include Rajesh Chaudhry, DPE representative; M A Pathan, former Chairman, IndianOil; and Vikram Bhalla from BCG group.
