A woman accused of blackmailing a Morbi industrialist — using a video she clandestinely shot while having sex with him — has been arrested by Morbi’s local crime branch. The woman and her accomplice allegedly attempted to extort Rs 1 crore from the industrialist.
According to the case details, Mansukh Aadoja, 52, met Kajal Parmar, 24, a year ago. The two were introduced by a mutual friend. Aadoja would often visit Parmar at her house, which she shared with her brother. Her brother works with a private company. According to police, Aadoja and Parmar began their physical relationship three months ago.
Police said that three weeks ago, Parmar told Aadoja that she was unwell and asked him to drop by. Later, as they were having consensual sex, she secretly filmed the act. Police said that she sent the clip to Aadoja and demanded Rs 1 crore, threatening to make the clip viral if he did not pay up. She also threatened to file a rape case. Local crime branch sub-inspector R T Vyas said: “The industrialist approached us and we trapped the woman and her aide, Ramesh Dadhania.”
