Rishiraj Singh, Excise Commissioner, inaugurated World Arthritis day Observation jointly organized by Kerala Arthritis and Rheumatism Society and Dr. Shenoy’s CARE, Nettoor. Even Rheumatic disorders are now being caused by the changed life style and we have to make healthy food and exercise a daily routine.
Punchiri, an initiative of CARE and ASIF, association of rheumatic patients, for giving free biological injection to poor Ankylosing arthritis patients, and Lupus Trust India for the better treatment and rehabilitation of Lupus patients got started at the occasion. Dr. Junaid Rahman, President, IMA, launched the logo of Lupus Trust India. Dr. Padmanabha Shenoy, Rheumatologist Ambassador of Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology, Dr. Regeena Shahin and Dr. Azad Sait lead awareness class on the treatments and remedies of Rheumatic disorders. Dr. K Narayanan, rheumatologist, CARE, Dr. Kaveri Nalianta, Nikhil Johny, president, ASIF, Adv. Indulekha Joseph and Vachasamritha Saiju, Lupus patients and founder members of Lupus Trust India delivered speech.
