KOCHI:
In its sustained efforts to provide cashless transactions to its customers through digital technology, Federal Bank has announced its partnership with Chillr, a pioneering round-the-clock mobile banking application that connects directly to a person’s bank account and enables instant money transfers, bill payments, phone recharge and e-commerce payments in a very secure environment.
As India’s first and only multi-bank mobile application, Chillr allows users to connect seamlessly with multiple bank accounts and manage all their banking needs on a single platform, making money transfer between bank accounts easier, faster and safer than sending a text message.
All transactions on Chillr are initiated directly from the users’ bank accounts and authenticated by a secure PIN provided by their banks. The mobile banking app integrates with banks directly and provides total security for all transactions. The easy to use app is available on Android, Windows and iOS operating systems.
The facility is already available to all customers of Federal Bank.
“We at Federal Bank have always believed that digital services will herald a paradigm shift in banking services. The bank has always striven to be ahead of the curve by launching a bouquet of online services,” said Babu K A, Head of Digital Banking at Federal Bank.
Commenting on the partnership, Sony Joy, CEO, Chillr and Co-Founder, MobME Wireless Solutions, said, “We are delighted that Federal Bank has partnered with Chillr to facilitate delivery of seamless and fast money payment and fund transfer services to all its customers. Our mission is to re-imagine banking and financial services in India by challenging the monopoly of cash and Federal Bank will be a key partner in this.”
