The Waterbase Ltd. (TWL), pioneer in the Indian Aquaculture Industry with integrated offerings of hatcheries, shrimp feed and farmcare products supported by shrimp processing capacities has won the award under the ‘Food, Agro & Horticulture Products (Mid – Corporate)’ category at the SME – Emerging India Awards 2019.
Union Minster of Steel, Govt. of India. Chaudhary Birender Singh presented the award to Ramakanth V Akula, CEO, The Waterbase Limited. With an objective of acknowledging the inestimable contributions by SMEs to various sectors of economy – “SME- Empowering India Awards 2019” seeks to recognize the contribution of such SMEs who through their achievements and growth have empowered the nation.
The award was judged on the basis of executing a very standardized and rigorous methodology. Applications from firms were sought in response to a questionnaire based on quantitative and qualitative aspects of businesses. Applications received were then evaluated by an independent panel of eminent industry experts.
Speaking on the occasion Ramakanth V.
