  • Experts Discuss Immunology at Mindray Special Scientific Forum

    Aimed at boosting lab practice in India, Mindray Medical India showcased its superior range of diagnostic technologies at a special scientific forum dedicated to Thyroid Disorder and Vitamin Deficiencies in Kochi.

The special scientific forum, held at Hotel Marriott in Kochi, witnessed experts discuss various topics related to Immunology related conditions and their testing in laboratories.

    Dr. A. S. Kanagasabapathy, former Professor and Head of Department, CMC Vellore, who is well renowned expert on Thyroid Disorders, shared his expert views on Diagnosis and Monitoring of Thyroid Disorders. Another well-known expert, Dr. George Abhram, Senior Consultant and Advisor, Clinical Laboratory Services at MIMS Hospital, shared his opinions on Laboratory Automation in Immunoassay testing. Dr. J Sureshkumar, Director, Medwin Laboratory, Cochin shared his experience on Vitamin Deficiencies. “Thyroid diseases are, arguably, among the commonest endocrine disorders worldwide. India too, is no exception. It has been estimated that about 42 million people in India suffer from thyroid diseases, where early diagnosis and treatment remain the cornerstone of better disease management,” experts opined.

    Mindray also celebrated the success of Chemiluminescence range of instruments and the phenomenal response received across India. In merely 2 years, they have exceeded 200 plus installation across India. Dharampal Sharma, Product Manager, Mindray India attributed this success to the combination of innovative technology, simple yet robust hardware and superior technical support which in turn helps their customer in providing better healthcare to their patients.
