MBA in Construction Project Management, the popular program of RICS School of Built Environment, Amity University has become the first ever program in India accredited by PMI- Global Accreditation Center.
RICS School of Built Environment (RICS SBE) has been established in 2013 by Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in collaboration with Amity University Uttar Pradesh at Noida. RICS is a global professional body promoting and enforcing the highest international standards in the valuation, management and development of land, real estate, construction and infrastructure.
RICS SBE is offering undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in Construction, Real Estate & Infrastructure. It also serves as a hub for research and development of technical expertise in built environment. MBA in Construction Project Management program (MBA-CPM) is the popular program of RICS SBE. There are about 500+ MBA-CPM graduates already working in the industry in India & abroad and 175+ are graduating as part of class of 2019.
MBA-CPM program is now accredited by the PMI Global Accreditation Center for Project Management Education Programs (PMI-GAC). PMI-GAC is an independent academic accreditation body with policies, procedures, and standards for project, program, portfolio management and related programs at the bachelor’s, post graduate and doctoral degree levels. GAC is also a member of the Association of Specialized and Professional Accreditors (ASPA), which advances the knowledge, skills, good practices, and ethical commitments of accreditors as a means of enhancing educational quality.
GAC accreditation is a testament that the program:

* Meets global accreditation standards
* Prepares students to enter the workforce
PMI-GAC accredited 125+ such programs globally across 65+ Institutions; 25+ programs across 15 institutions in Asia. MBA-CPM of RICS SBE is the first ever program accredited by PMI-GAC in India. It may be noted that MBA-CPM program is also accredited by RICS, again a first of its kind in India. Accreditation by both these prestigious professional bodies would mean world class academic experience to the students as well as enhance the employability of the graduates.
