KOCHI:
The School of Legal Studies (SLS) of Cochin University of Science and Technology is organising a teachers training workshop on ‘Contemporary Developments in Corporate Law’ from 26 th to 30 th December as part of the UGC Special Assistance Programme (SAP).
The workshop intends to provide conceptual and practical insights into contemporary developments in corporate and allied laws. Vice Chancellor Dr. K.N. Madhusoodanan will inaugurate the workshop at 9.30am on 26 th at the Seminar Hall of SLS. Dr Vani Kesari A., Director, SLS will preside over the meeting. Prof. Indrajith Dube, Professor (Law), IIT Kharagpur will deliver the keynote address.
Dr P.S. Seema, Co-ordinator and Dr Preetha S, Deputy, Co-ordinator will speak. Dr A.M. Varkey, former Director of SLS, Dipeesh M.U., Deputy General Manager, Securities Exchange Board of India, N. Balasubramanian, Directus Consultants, Madhusudhanan E.P., SEP &Associates, K.R. Sajikumar, Executive Director, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, Dr Anil R Nair, Associate Professor, CUSAT, Rajiv K, Head, Corporate Affairs, Malabar Group, Cheriachan V Akkat, Vice Predsident, Accenture Solutions Ltd.
Bengaluru and Prof. M.P. Padmanabha Pillai (Retd.), Reliance Chair of Corporate law, NLSIU, Bengaluru will handle various sessions. Paper presentations also will be held in the concluding session of the workshop.
