As part of the state-wide 90-day intensive “Drug-free Kerala” campaign launched by Vimukthi Mission under the State Excise Department, a quiz competition will be conducted on the official Facebook page of Vimukthi, from January 25.
The winner of ‘Vimukthi Quiz’will get a smartphone as prize. Also, through lucky draw, consolation prizes will be given to those who give correct answer to each question. The quiz competition forms part of a series of events planned by Vimukthi to mobilise public support, especially among the youth, for the drug-free and de-addiction drive.
Recently, football tournaments were organised in different parts of the state to give a local-level push to the campaign in association with Taluk football associations.
The drug-free message was prominently displayed at stadium where the matches were held, and the speakers at such events underscored the importance of grass-root level support for the success of the campaign, aimed at building a mentally alert and physically fit society. The roadshow organised by Vimukthi had also received huge response across the state.
