Dr Shalini Menon, CSIR research associate at the CUSAT Department of Applied Chemistry has won best scientist’s oral presentation award in chemical sciences and Sanu K. Anand, research scholar, Department of Applied Chemistry won best student’s oral presentation award in chemical sciences in the 32 nd Kerala Science Congress held during 25-27 th January, 2020 at Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies, Palakkad.
Both Dr Shalini and Sanu are working under the guidance of Dr K. Girish Kumar, Head, Department of Applied Chemistry. Dr Shalini won the prize for her paper titled ‘A dual channel optical reusing strategy for the Neurotrasnsmitter hormone norepinephrine’ and Sanu for her paper ‘voltammetric sensor for the individual and simultaneous determination of norepinephrine’.
