KOCHI:
Cochin University of Science and Technology will conduct final semester postgraduate examinations online due to Covid-19 pandemic.
The exams will be held from June 10 to June 25, 2020. The schedule of examinations will be decided by the respective Head/Principal. The exam will be conducted with the help of Moodle or Google Classroom.
Candidates should have Smartphone or computer, internet access and email ID. The students who have no access to any of the above can utilise facilities at respective departments/colleges if they inform in advance.
The duration of the exam is three hours out of which 30 minutes will be to make sure that all the answers are uploaded. A 5 minutes viva will be conducted immediately after the examination through video conferencing for each student to ensure that no malpractice has been done in the examination.
A Special Cell and Monitoring Committee comprising senior officials and teachers have been constituted to co-ordinate conduct of the exams. The Principals and the respective Heads of Departments will be responsible to verify the examination facilities of the students.
