

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
As part of the campaign, “No to drugs, yes to health” aimed at sensitizing the public about the increasing menace of drug abuse, Technopark organised the drum beats of folk artists, superbikes show, and a flash dance by the techies of the leading IT companies in the state. The campaign was launched by Niyas Khan, Asst Commissioner of Police. Held under the auspices of GTECH (Group of Technology Companies), the event is the curtain raiser to a series of programs to be held across the IT parks of the state and culminating in a marathon in Thiruvananthapuram on March 19th.
“Drug and substance abuse is a real concern today, and the Government is committed to making Kerala a drug-free state. Technopark congratulates GTECH on taking up this issue to the masses and is glad to associate with them to make this campaign a grand success” said Sanjeev Nair, CEO, Technopark.
GTECH, is the industry body of IT comprises in the state with a membership base of 300 companies comprising of 80% of all techies in Kerala. As part of its social outreach campaign, GTECH takes up emerging social causes on an on-going basis across the different cities of Kerala.
