THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Budding entrepreneurs need to possess a discerning mindset for their startups to scale up operations and ensure growth by defying the emerging challenges in technologies, said a foreign expert at the nasscom FAYA:80 seminar held at Technopark here.
“An effective adoption of entrepreneurial mindsets is vital to build nascent firms successfully as technologies bring forth exponential changes and unforeseen circumstances,” said Neil Sogard, Vice President of Strategies & Global Partnerships at Singularity University, California.
He was speaking at the 120th edition of the nasscom FAYA:80 seminar on the topic “From Linear to Exponential Growth: Building Startups in the Singularity Era.”
Singularity University is a pioneer institution in exponential technology education to transform innovators and leaders into future-makers.
Sogard said current global challenges hinder the growth of many startups with great potential and startup founders have to understand how dynamically technologies drive change today, which may lead to the singularity era.
The session was attended by entrepreneurs, technology enthusiasts, thought leaders, and innovators. The monthly programme aims to foster a culture of casual tech-versations and enhance knowledge of techies through insightful seminars, discussions, and workshops.
