P Raveendran, Chairman, Chennai Port Trust has assumed additional charge of Chairman, Cochin Port Trust today (27-03- 2017). H P Raveendran ITRS. e was Trustee of Cochin Port Trust Board during 2009-2016 in his capacity as Chief Freight Transportation Manager, Southern Railway.
An Indian Railway Traffic Service Officer of 1988 batch, he was earlier Divisional Railway Manager, Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway. He had also worked in various senior capacities in Southern and South Western Railway and also as Group General Manager, Container Corporation of India (CONCOR).
