    • Observance of World Tobacco Day by Railway

    THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
    In connection with world No CAPE (2)Tobacco day, an awareness class and screening camp was organized in Trivandrum central railway station for the benefit of passengers and staff.
    Dr MarryMathew, Chief Medical Superintendent , Railway Hospital, inaugurated the programme . Dr .C.Venugopal. MDS (Civil Surgeon, Govt: Fort Hospital) conducted an awareness class on oral cancer. Dr. Simon Mores (Director of Health services) and Dr. Sony Thomas, Senior Divisional Medical Officer Railway lead the screening camp. About 75 people including passengers and Taxi drivers in Railway premised attended the screening camp.
