MUMBAI:
Ambuja Cements Ltd., one of India’s most innovative cement makers, has launched ‘Ambuja IHB Clinics’ to provide expert advice to ‘Individual House Builders (IHB)’ —who form one of the most critical customer segments for the company.
Given that individual house builders are crucial to Ambuja Cements, the clinic helps provide tips, expert advice on estimation and design, materials, curing and correct techniques for different construction applications, among others, for such customers. It’s also a one-stop shop for all construction related queries. The clinic provides information about the do’s and don’ts of construction, with the help of working models wherever possible, along with details of Ambuja Cements’ products and solutions. It houses product demos and audio-visuals. This initiative is in line with Ambuja Cements’ aim to not just be a cement supplier but help customers build stronger homes.
Neeraj Akhoury, CEO India Holcim and MD & CEO of Ambuja Cements Ltd., said, “We at Ambuja Cements try to create differentiated engagement with customers and influencers through our value-added services. We empower and educate our customers through onsite guidance of right construction practices. The company has been creating sustainable impact beyond its business too, and this initiative is one such example.”
The clinic also ensures customers get to interact with engineers from Ambuja Cements or other influencers through face-to-face interactions for their queries related to construction.
Ambuja IHB Clinic is a good proposition as it provides the IHB customer a unique and differentiated experience. The clinic helps them get solutions for all their construction related queries on men, materials and methods. It also helps engage with customers through demonstrations or discussions on products and solutions through audio-visuals.
Ambuja Cements has always aimed to provide hassle-free home-building solutions to its customers as it believes its relationship with the customer doesn’t end after purchase of its products. Through initiatives like the IHB Clinic, the company aims to excel on sustainability in business.
