Book Launch and Academic Interface Programme at NUALS

KOCHI:
The National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS), Kochi, is organising a book launch in collaboration with LexisNexis India followed by an Academic Interface Programme as part of the academic initiatives of NUALS at 4.30 p.m. on August 11, 2016 at the Seminar Hall, NUALS Campus, Kalamassery.
Justice K. T. Sankaran, Judge, High Court of Kerala and President, Board of Governors, Kerala Judicial Academy, will be releasing the Fourth Edition of the Book, ‘Environmental Law in India’ authored by Professor P. Leelakrishnan, Formerly Dean, Faculty of Law, CUSAT and Member, Executive Council, NUALS, and published by LexisNexis. Prof. (Dr.) Rose Varghese, Vice-Chancellor, NUALS, will preside over the function. Sachin Tripathi, Product Marketing Manager, LexisNexis India, will also participate in the function.
The Academic Interface Programme, a unique academic initiative wherein the students, faculty and the lawyers discuss on landmark judgements of apex as well as various High Courts. In the eighth series of the Academic Interface Programme, S. Subhash Chand, Advocate, High Court of Kerala, will be presenting the recent case R. S. Shukla v State of Chhattisgarh [(2015) 10 SCC 400] for discussion.
