

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The disbursement of financial succour of Rs.15 Crores (Santhwanam 2021) promised by Ravi Pillai Foundation for those who are suffering financially due to COVID-19 and its aftermath, shall be inaugurated the Chief Minister of the state, Pinarayi Vijayan.
The inauguration of “Santhwanam 2021” shall take place on August 17, 2021, being the auspicious Chingam 1 as per the Malayalam Calendar. Ravi Pillai, expressed his extreme happiness in being able to help out all the deserving beneficiaries who were handpicked with care and caution, from about 2.5 Lakhs applications and requests received via NORKA Roots and directly to the Foundation.
He also conveyed his sincere and heartfelt gratitude for the support People’s Representatives (MPs and MLAs) who took time from their busy schedule to make sure that the applications reached RP Foundation without fail. The disbursement set to begin on August 17, 2021 shall continue in the following months, with an aim to ensure that every deserving person is benefitted from this initiative at the earliest.
The applications received, are thoroughly examined by a special team of 200 individuals, who prioritise them on the basis of significance of the requirements and needs mentioned in the applications.
