DUBAI:
Dubai Court has ordered compensation of 506514 Dirham (Rs 1.3 Crore) for a Kuttippuram native who met with an accident at Fujairah. Abdul Rahuman, 37, received the court order after one year of legal battle.
The accident occurred on August 22, 2019 and the Traffic Criminal Court asked to pay 3,000 Dirham by the other driver due to this negligent driving. The relatives of Abdul Rahuman, who was seriously injured in the accident, approached the legal representative and social worker at UAE, Salam Pappinissery.
A case was registered against the insurance company and later the insurance authority ordered to pay 5 lakh dirham as compensation. Insurance company registered a civil case against the huge compensation.
The court found that the documents submitted by the advocate of Abdul Rahuman was genuine. Later when the insurance company approached Supreme Court, the court too directed to pay the compensation.
