  • Crusaders Launch Two Premium Anti- pollution Masks

By NE Reporter on October 25, 2017

    NEW DELHI:
Crusaders Technologies India Pvt. Ltd., a pioneer in air purification solutions and devices in India since 2004, today announced the launch of two premier, stylish, and highly efficient anti-pollution masks. The new variants, Crusaders Marathon and Crusaders Dart, prevent people from inhaling harmful air pollutants including dust, pollen, toxic gases, PM 10 and PM 2.5.
The hyper-efficient masks act as a preventive solution to air pollution that can cause myriad health problems like flu & allergies, chronic respiratory and heart diseases. Prolonged exposure to air pollution due to day to day activities like cycling and running increases the possibility of becoming more prone to these health issues. As per a 2016 report by WHO, 4 out of 5 most polluted cities of the world are in India, with Delhi being on the 9 th position.
With a guaranteed 99.97% rate of efficiency, the masks consist of the N99 Filter that has the capacity to capture pollutants as small as 0.3 microns present in the air we breathe. The one –way valve design and high-fibre textile serves as an anti-haze mask and their good air permeable quality makes them non sticky and non greasy, thus allowing long continuous breathing. The masks also come with an adjustable and comfortable nose clip as well as flexible side ear loops.
According to Ankur Chawla, Director, Crusaders Technologies India Pvt. Ltd., “We want people to better understand the quality of air they breathe day in and day out during regular outdoor work, travelling on 2-wheelers or even health based activities like cycling, jogging and walking. The heavy concentrations of pollutants present outdoors can cause serious damage to their respiratory system and overall health. In order to address the adverse effects of air pollution in India, we have come up with two variants of anti -pollution masks that ensure a healthy environment. Equipped with N99 + Carbon 4 Layer Filtration technology, these masks can block particulate pollutants such as dust, pollen, PM 10, PM 2.5, microbes, toxic gases and smoke from entering our body, thus proving to be an effective tool for long-term health and well being.”
Crusaders Marathon is a washable mask which can run for years if maintained properly. It comes with a unique Zipper Lock System, where the N99 + Carbon (4 layer filter) can be placed and removed to change the filter when need be or wash the main mask. The main mask is made of hand-washable material made of superior quality fabric that fits well and is quite comfortable to wear. The replaceable N99 + Carbon 4 layer filter can last for 25-30 hours or 10- 12 days (if worn for 2-3 hours every day).
Crusaders Dart is positioned in the disposable mask category. Till now this category had N95 and N99 variants. It is the first time that the disposable mask category has a N99 + Carbon 4 layer filtration system. One Dart Mask can last for 10-12 days or 25-30 hours during normal pollution levels and around 10-15 hours during high pollution period.
The Crusaders Marathon and Dart are available at a special introductory price of Rs.1, 499 and Rs.599 respectively for a limited period. The Marathon mask comes with 5 changeable filters along with the mask in blue & black colours. Its filter pack of 7 replaceable filters can be purchased separately for Rs.499 only from the official Crusaders website. Whereas, Dart comes in white, blue, pink and grey colours and its pack contains 3 disposable masks.
Crusaders Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. has tied up with Fortis Health World Ltd. for positioning of their masks at the Fortis Health World Pharmacies. These masks will also be available online to customers on e-commerce sites like Amazon, Flipkart etc. or can be purchased at the nearest Fortis Pharmacy.
