CUSAT: Kaushal Kendra Celebrates 5 th Anniversary

KOCHI:
The fifth anniversary celebrations of DDU Kaushal Kendra, a vocational education centre in Cochin University of Science and Technology, was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Dr. K. N Madhusoodanan.

“Since the new education policy makes vocational education compulsory from 6 th standard, the Kendra has infinite scope’’, he said. The Vice-Chancellor unveiled the logo of the Kaushal Kendra and released a newsletter containing an evaluation of the activities for the last five years. Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. P.G. Shankaran delivered
the keynote address. Kaushal Kendra Director Dr. Zakaria KA presided, and Dr. Meera V.,Registrar, Geo Joe, PTA Vice President, Razal M, Advisory Board Member, Dr. Ranjini, Henry Bastin, alumni, and Vinu Varghese spoke.
