Orientation programme for SC/ST students
A one day orientation programme for first year SC/ST (UG/PG) students of Cochin University was organized by the Equal Opportunity Cell CUSAT. Sreeramakrishnan, Speaker of Kerala Legislative Assembly inaugurated the function. “Ensuring equal rights to all citizen is the inevitable obligation of democracy” he opined. CUSAT VC Dr. J. Letha Delivered the key note address and Dr. R. Sasidharan (Syndicate Member) presided. Dr. N. Chandramohanakumar (Syndicate Member), Dr. M.R.Radhakrishna Panicker (Principal, SOE ), Dr. Sasi Gopalan (Co- ordinator, EOC) and Dr. M. Kailasnath spoke at the function. Classes on career prospects and academic and non-academic facilities at CUSAT were held.
