Vice-Chancellor Dr. K.N. Madhusoodanan released the logo of the Centre for Science – in Society (C-CiS), Cochin University of Science and Technology, prepared in connection with the commencement of its social outreach programmes, handing over the same to Dr. P.G. Shankaran, Pro-Vice-Chancellor.
Dr. V. Meera, Registrar, Prof. M. Bhasi, Director, C-CiS, Dr. P. Shaiju and Dr. Abesh Raghuvaran participated. Ezhikkara and Mulanthuruthi Panchayats have been selected and activities started as part of extending activities of C-CiS from campus to various sections of the society. As part of this, a workshop on repairing LED bulbs will be organized on November 24, 25 and 26 for training 20 women selected from Ezhikkara Panchayat.
